Apothek's Favourite Norwegian Electronic Tracks Playlist

On 25th October, acclaimed Oslo duo Apothek debut their brand of lush, glacial electronica live at The Pickle Factory for Ovation, supported by Toothless, the new solo project of Bombay Bicycle Club's Ed Nash. Described by The Sunday Times as creating 'shimmering electronica with killer hooks and classical complexity', Apothek's critically acclaimed self-titled debut album has been on repeat in the Oval Space office, and simply adds fuel to London's continuing love affair with Norwegian electronica. Ahead of their debut at The Pickle Factory, we asked vocalist Morten Myklebust to give us his own favourite Norwegian electronic tracks of the moment.

Apothek

The White Birch - 'New York’

I've been listening to this lately, great albums, great playing, great songs.

Madrugada - 'Majesty'

If Nick Cave was Norwegian, minimalist and grandiose at the same time.

Andre Bratten - 'Primordial Pit'

Hard to select one song from this album, love all of it.

Susanne Sundfør - 'Darlings'

First song on the latest album, just amazing.
