We're Hiring – General Manager
Oval Space and The Pickle Factory are seeking a high profile General Manager with multi-disciplined experience, to manage corporate, club, and live music events across two sites.
We are looking for a passionate and successful candidate who understands the importance of excellent service standards whilst managing high-volume venues, dealing with multiple types of events and have experience with corporate clients. You will be working alongside two other General Managers to continue the successful running and expansion of the venues.
Location: Bethnal Green – Oval Space, The Pickle Factory
Both sites run a multitude of club, gig and corporate events with a strong bar trade. The key responsibilities are to maintain these standards, generate sales and deliver profit targets by leading, inspiring and developing your team to help us achieve our goals. You will need a strong background in club/live music and have dealt with corporate bookings. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent experiences to every customer, always putting the customer first, creating client satisfaction with the view to build relationships and create repeat business.
You will need to have a strong command of stocktake and analysis, wage control, proven experience working with large teams and all aspects of Food Safety, Health and Safety accountability.
The two sites are high volume and fast paced, so you must have an eye for detail and the ability to drive consistent service standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate achievement in driving businesses forward in a balanced way with measurable, excellent results. You will work closely with the head of venues as well as the corporate and music teams to ensure service standards and bookings continue to be driven forward.
Bespoke Event Management
We treat every brief and event package as bespoke and we need a General Manager that can adapt and work with the skills and facilities we have to undertake as much or as little as necessary in preparation for each event.
You must come from a similar venue background with experience across all types of events. If you are self-motivated and looking for a new challenge in an iconic venue then we would love to hear from you.
