The Pickle Factory Hosts Fundraisers In Aid Of Ukraine
On Thursday 10th and Sunday 13th March, The Pickle Factory hosts two fundraiser parties, with 100% of the proceeds going to charities in aid of Ukraine.
It's broken our heart to see what's happening in Ukraine. We have a deep affinity for Ukraine, its lovely & welcoming people, and truly special party scene, one of our favourites in Europe. And we want to help in some way.
We're extremely thankful to all the artists for agreeing to play both parties for free, and especially Shanti, Sandy and Jane for the team effort in organising the parties.
We hope that the money raised - split between two charities, the details of which are below - will go some way to helping the Ukrainian people. We're all with you.
On Thursday, we host luminaries from the London house and UKG scene, as Pickle favourites Shanti Celeste and Moxie, Dr Banana and Jossy Mitsu, and our residents Hamish & Toby spin from 8pm - 2am.
Last entry is strictly 10pm, as we want to make as much for charity as possible.
On Sunday, we host an evening of deeper, weirder techno sounds, as Uruguayan maestro Nicolas Lutz, first lady of Pickle Jane Fitz & longtime Kyiv favourite Carl H, and Toi Toi's Junki Inoue play all evening from 6pm-12am.
Last entry is strictly 8pm, as we want to make as much for charity as possible.
After consulting with friends in Ukraine, we have decided to split the pot 50 / 50 between two charities which are doing vital work.
Phoenix Wings supplies non lethal equipment and supplies to the Ukrainian army, such as first aid, vests and helmets.
SOS Ukraina provides urgent humanitarian care to Ukrainian people who have been displaced by the war, including internally displaced people and refugees.
All ticket holders will be kept up to date with fundraising throughout.
