Tickets available: Buy tickets

Showcases for artists on the Gilles Peterson-backed mentorship programme Run in collaboration with Arts Council England and the PRS Foundation Future Bubblers supports unsigned artists to develop their music and navigate the music industry

The Future Bubblers showcases are fast becoming an annual tradition. It's a chance to see live shows and DJ sets from a selection of new artists tipped as ones to watch by Gilles Peterson. This year we have ten acts representing the year 7 cohort of Gilles Peterson's Future Bubblers mentorship programme. The artists are drawn from across England, and the music they make is just as diverse, ranging from live-rendered, atmospheric electronics to dubby hip-hop sound storms.

Future Bubblers aim is to promote and encourage music across the country with a particular focus outside of London. Promoting and motivating artists in the lesser supported cities will ultimately aid in creating micro music cultures across the country hopefully creating the desired ripple effect. The previous 5 years focus cities have included; Salford, Nottingham, Hull, Sheffield, Southampton, Liverpool, and Wolverhampton. Last month, The Future Bubblers hosted their own stage at Brighton’s The Great Escape festival which saw performances from previous Bubblers Neone The Wonderer, Madi Saskia, Plumm and more. As they continue to strengthen their cultural relevance, their third and most recent collaboration with Tommy Jeans marked an All-star showcase; headlined by Dreya Mac, A.G and Odeal at Tommy Hilfiger’s London flagship store.
