Hop, Skip & Jump Presents Christmas Carols With A Twist
For the fourth year running, and following a sell out for the last two years, the Children’s Charity Hop Skip and Jump will again be hosting ‘Christmas Carols with a Twist’ at the Pickle Factory, a warehouse venue in East London. Taking place on Friday 6th December 2019, the evening puts a twist on the traditional Christmas carols by inviting the audience to belt their hearts out to Christmas classics like The Pogues, Mariah Carey and Wham! All set to Box 9 Drumline, a live 10 piece brass band. Featuring guest singers, rappers and DJs, the night is as far from a traditional carol concert as you can imagine, and with a holiday to the South of France to be won in the raffle, what better way to kick off the festive season, all for a good cause!
For over 30 years, the charity Hop, Skip and Jump have worked to provide cost effective, flexible, immediate and sustained respite care for children and young adults with disability and special educational needs. They aim to ensure that everyone has access to the care they need and currently have five centres across the country.
What parents say about Hop, Skip and Jump: “I feel happy and relaxed leaving my son with them. At HSJ B feels safe and happy – no one judges him when he goes there. B didn’t have friends before coming to HSJ – but now he has friends from the centre. Highly recommended.” The full line up of singers will be announced in the build up to the night, but given Christmas Carols with a Twist was a sell out in 2017 and 2018, be sure to get your tickets early to make sure you don’t miss out. Tickets are £25 and available now from https://www.hopskipandjumpevents.co.uk
Get practicing your harmonies for the most unforgettable Christmas carols around. With one in five people affected by some form of disability, Hop, Skip and Jump are committed to reaching out to make a real difference to the lives of these individuals and their families. They are constantly looking to expand and events such as Christmas Carols with a Twist can help Hop, Skip and Jump achieve this.
