20th June 2014 will see Oval Space batten down the hatches for Night Slugs’ 6th birthday, featuring an impressive line up headed up by label founders Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990. One of the few labels that manages to push boundaries and resist classification, Night Slugs are undoubtedly one of the ‘most pronounced voices operating in the club landscape’, with their consistently high quality output of releases and experimental collaborations. The family will be out in force to celebrate their birthday, with Kingdom and Girl Unit joining special guest Head High aka Shed.
Get down early to catch our screening of Night Slugs & Fade to Mind's short film 'Icy Lake', directed by Wills Glasspiegel with L-Vis 1990. ‘Icy Lake’ explores the mystery behind DAT Oven’s "suicidally hot" ‘Icy Lake’ track while connecting the dots between tribal house, vogue, grime, and the future.
