Soundcrash Presents: Neil Cowley

Neil Cowleyis, undoubtedly, a titan in the UK’s music scene. Once the most listened-to pianist on the planet, throughout his career he has not been afraid to draw inspiration from a variety of genres – from funk and soul, to epic cinematic orchestrations, through modern classical to pop – until finally honing in on jazz when he set up the trio that earned him a spot on Jools Holland, and the highly coveted BBC Jazz Award.

Having put his award-winning eponymous trio on hiatus, Neil Cowley has not just embraced has embraced a new musical direction, in part reflected in the choice of artists on his ‘Spacebound Tapes’ EP that included remixes by Rival Consoles, Throwing Snow, Christian Löffler and Vessels.

Since then, Cowley has sold out two London headline shows, collaborated with the likes of Ben Lukas Boysen and Maribou State, remixed Holly Walker, and is confidently continuing his journey into the exciting world of electronica with a headline show at The Pickle Factory.

With less than 200 tickets available, this is set to be a very special evening of new music from one of the UK’s most talented composers. Tickets will sell out fast.
