Someone who has become enlightened in the ways of the universe by accepting they know nothing about it.

Seekers celebrate their 4th release with a debut UK showcase at The Pickle Factory on 24th February, inviting Slow Life founder Laurine and perennial Pickle Factory favourite Gwenan to join Seekers boss Alex Picone and label resident Niff.

Though only four releases old, Seekers has quickly become one of contemporary house music’s seminal imprints. Everything the label stands for, from its curation - which focuses on the lush, trippy end of the house & breaks spectrum - to Seekers’ beautiful in-house artwork, comes directly from the heart, 4/4 music made with style, passion and elegance. Seekers’ nomadic party offshoot, which has hosted the likes of Binh, Francesco Del Garda and Onur Ozer, has taken place everywhere from Berlin to Venice, Barcelona to Ibiza. Now, finally, Seekers comes to London, with a debut UK showcase at The Pickle Factory.

Headlining for Seekers on 24th February is Slow Life boss Laurine. As 1/5 of the Slow Life crew - and the label’s key resident DJ alongside Cecilio and DJ Tree - Laurine is rightly regarded as one of Berlin’s premiere purveyors of electronic records in all styles, rhythms and textures. Also on the bill, Gwenan, who returns after two superb performances at Pickle last year. Her first, a revelatory warm up set for Nicolas Lutz’s My Own Jupiter, was one of our favourite DJ sets we’ve witnessed since opening. They’re joined by Seekers’ founder Alex Picone and label resident Niff.

As befits Seekers’ long party ethos, we have extended the opening hours at The Pickle Factory to an 8am finish. Then, Seekers host their 4th Release Afterparty just around the corner at The Brewhouse, joined by a host of local DJing talents, and a rare headline performance from revered digger Desyn, known to the vinyl community under his taste-making moniker Rockyfair.
